Vans celebrates the 20th anniversary 'Ten' - Pearl Jam's debut album - with the release of these SK8-HIs. As a nod to the '90s era grunge movement that gave birth to the band, the uppers employ flannel material - a staple of the fashion back then.

The other parts of the shoe are made from suede, while the band's name and logo are embroided on the heels and tongue tags, as well as printed all over the inner-lining.

To round off the package, the kicks come wrapped in paper that feature a photo-print of the band performing, and everything is packed into a special shoebox.

NEW BALANCE 'HS77'

After having to release the "PPF" pack from New Balance, we now present you the 'HS77'.

The HS77 is uncoventional in that it is a new footwear model from New Balance that combines design elements from both contemporary and iconic New Balance shoes, yet avoids looking like a mash-up franken-sneaker of sorts.

The mid-cut sneaker employs the Sonic Welding technology that first appeared on the MS574 series, allowing the uppers to be bonded together by heat, giving a seamless appearance for a more futuristic look. Plain nubuck was the material of choice, no crazy colours or designs, just plain casual colours for everyday wear.

Encouraged by numerous requests from loyal friends, family and longtime loyal customers, Oliver Peoples founder Larry Leight was inspired to explore his personal archive of original Oliver Peoples designs. After losing himself in a time machine of memories, Larry discovered several iconic, brand-defining styles with original vintage glass lenses in rare shades. Convinced that interest in these classic styles is just as strong today as it was twenty years ago, he wanted to make some available to select customers. Since very few originals still exist, and because it is essential that the same attention to detail, craftsmanship and the integrity of the original styles be retained, the brand reached out to the same Japanese factory to reproduce these designs in a limited run. Offered below is view of this collection for Oliver Peoples Vintage.

For 2011’s APAC (Asia Pacific) Project, New Balance extended its annual design invitation between Streething & Singaporean sneaker boutique, Leftfoot. The Past, Present and Future theme is a play on New Balance’s running heritage that was born in 1906 and transcended the boundaries of sports.The collection is divided into three sets. New Balance has engaged us and Leftfoot to re-imagine the classic 574 running shoe in Past, Present and Future representations. There will be only 600 pairs available for each of the three exclusive designs.

The Past HM574 – New Balance x Streething

The HM574 features a mid cut upper on a classic 574 sole unit. Using the old heritage colors – Grey and Navy, the shoe still serves as timeless classic. The deliberate aged sole unit represents a vintage nostalgia injected to the shoe.

The Present H574J – New Balance x Leftfoot
Using new contrasting colours – Green and Brown, the H574J present a contemporary take on New Balance. Seen as a loud version of the 574, these re-engineered shoes take after boots and are inspired by current fashion trends.

The Future HS77 – New Balance x Streething x Leftfoot

This version represents New Balance’s 574 in the future. Using lighter and slimmer soles, the lightweight shoe still draws identity and inspiration from the 574 silhouette. This HS77 has been re- imagined with lightweight materials, new colors and patterns to bring us an entirely new fashion forward.

Here is the summer 2011 offering from clothing line OBEY. The collection features
a very casual aesthetic that flows throughout the range, with the classic graphic
elements the brand is famous for still present through the several T-shirts. Here is
what OBEY has to say about the collection. Summer OBEY usually try get a little weird
with color. You’ll see some muted blues, coral, raffia, and more in alot in OBEY T’s.
The styling is fairly basic this round including some classic mid 90’s styles, surf
character throwbacks, washed denim, etc. Pretty lighthearted collection for summer.
As usual OBEY try to offer a little something for everyone.
