Norse Projects x New Balance 1500 “Danish Weather”

Norse Projects has officially revealed its “Danish Weather” collaboration alongside New Balance. 

The pack includes two different takes on New Balance’s 1500 silhouette as a nod to the antumnal  weather that sets in on the Danes for the majority of the year – Brown and brunt orange of Copenhagen’s forest & Grey and blue as a reflection of the seasonal, cloudy skies. CROSSOVER is making it available at our Sunway store only. Available in extremely limited quantities and it will be on a first come first served basis and strictly limited to one pair per customer with no reservation/order via phone allowed. With an already storied relationship, which extends all the way back to his breakthrough “Purple Swag” track, hip-hop supernova A$AP Rocky teams up with Jeremy Scott for a new rendition of the designer’s JS WINGS 2.0 silhouette. Paying homage to Rocky’s Long.Live.A$AP album, which features visuals of a black and white American flag, this collaboration finds the silhouette embroidered with black stars around the upper. Simultaneously, the concept does well to mirror the ascent of the American Dream, which has been most recently embodied by Rocky. One of the stronger releases from Scott’s seasonal collaborative releases, look for the BLACK FLAG version of the JS WINGS 2.0 at CROSSOVER Sunway tomorrow 7th SEP (Sat) 10a.m.

Not the one to shy away from flamboyant designs, Jeremy Scott again collaborates with adidas on a new iteration to the JS Wings 2.0. Titled “Money,” the joint venture sees heavy referencing from its archives — altering Jeremy Scott’s 2002 adidas “Money” Forum Mid, an archive that started a decade-long partnership. Interspersed across the upper, the American one dollar is revised with George Washington’s face replaced with Jeremy Scott’s. Sitting atop an off-white sole, the eye-catching silhouette again celebrates both staples’ ongoing motifs.
