BURN RUBBER x NEW BALANCE 577 'Joe Louis'

Burn Rubber and New Balance have come together to produce a special take on the New Balance 577 inspired by Detroit’s rich history of world-class boxers, and Joe Louis in particular. For this collaboration, Detroit’s Burn Rubber has given the humble 577 silhouette a premium makeover featuring a black, brown and white upper composed of fine leather, and an off-white midsole coupled with a gum outsole underneath. Special packaging inspired by Joe Louis’s childhood habit of hiding his boxing gloves in his violan case completes the collaboration. Out on 1st December 2013 (Sunday) 11a.m at Crossover Sunway store.

The Good Will Out x New Balance 577 "AutoBahn" Pack

German retailer The Good Will Out has teamed up with New Balance to produce two unique colorways of the 577 for this “Autobahn” pack. The pack features “day” and “night” colorways of the 577, both representing the autobahn as seen during daylight and nighttime hours. The “day” model boasts a grey, white, and blue color scheme representing both tarmac and the street signs seen on the side of the autobahn. A driver’s license printed on the sockliner completes the look for the “day” colorway. The “night” model represents the night lights seen on cars as they whiz by, and features a black, white, dark grey, and red color scheme with red 3M on the right shoe’s heel and insole, and white glow-in-the-dark material for the left shoe’s heel and insole. The MRT580 silhouette has been executed in all-black leather around the upper, accented with special reflective materials underneath and subtle orange tones at the interior. A clean white REVlite midsole contrasts the top portion, reinforcing the sneaker’s sophisticated edge. A closer look at the sneaker reveals that the star motif at the toe box and heel cushion double as a point of ventilation, while the plush materials make reference to a casual urban lifestyle. SNEAKER FREAKER x PUMA 'BLAZE OF GLORY' OG PACK

Sneaker Freaker made the unexpected announcement that its 2007 collaboration with Puma featuring the Blaze of Glory silhouette. Consisting of two colorways — the “Great White” and the “Black Beast” — the pack showcased the best of the new silhouette. The 2013 versions feature new color-coded and improved sockliners. On the outside, a wrinkled nubuck has been added as nod to the sharkskin used in the original version. The Blaze of Glory OG pack & LTWT silhouette available now at Crossover Sunway store only.

Puma Blaze of Glory LTWT silhouette — a lightweight version of the original Blaze of Glory OG model. Speaking of the OG, the original collaboration from 2007 marked the debut of the Blaze of Glory OG. Five years later and the shoe has served as the canvas for several collaborations, but it’s the original Sneaker Freaker collaboration that remains for many the pinnacle of what the silhouette has to offer. For the Re-Issue collection, the Blaze of Glory OG returns much the same as the original with just slight changes made to the sockliners. The Blaze of Glory LTWT is also featured in the same two “Great White” and “Black Beast” colorways.
