VISIVA HUMANISM AW 2012/2013
SUPER picks up the concept of printed acetate and takes it even further than it had a few years back with projects such as the infamous Alife collaboration and the elegantly decorated Liberty London frames. This time around, the project takes a seasonal life of its own with the Visiva Series project. Following the season's theme, Super will release a selection of pieces adorned with a precise selection of prints. Wether they be inside the frame, delicately placed on the front, or sharply decorating certain details. The eyewear will feature unique aesthetic characteristics that immediately bring out Super's signature touch of style.
SUPER Flat Top Papyrus
The Papyrus model pays homage to the original masters of print: the Ancient Egyptians. The molasses-brown Havana Flat Tops are set with a dark brown Zeiss lens, the inner frame is mounted with a beautiful high-resolution print of the Winged Sphinx on parchment, while the arms feature an intricate hieroglyphic print and a delicate 'RETROSUPERFUTURE' logo inscription in gold.

The Tapestry series are perfect for those SUPER fanatics who like their shades to stand out from a distance. Dipped in murky Seventies acetates, these models are embellished with mosaic, Persian-insprired prints. Eclectic, loud and brave, a definite statement piece.

SUPER Flat Top Marmo Alpi
The Marmo models play on an inspiration found closer to their home: marble. Available in the Basic, Flat Top, the Basic and Flat Top version with its inky black exterior keeps the inspiration to a modest minimum, with the black and white marble print kept to the inside of the model.

The following models are both characterized by the use of matte crystal acetate and matching matte prints inside. Resulting in a frosty effect perfectly in theme with its images. The Baita comes in two different colorways: milky white acetate for the Classic silhouette and black matte for the Flat Top. Both decorated by a beautiful vintage image from the European slopes.
